Why? He's new.

He's the leader of our team back home. He has experience in that kind of missions.

This is totally different from most missions.

I wouldn't suggest bringing him if I thought he'd be the kind to slow us down or die down there.

But being new means he is the type to not know anything about what we're doing.

I'm taking upon me to make sure he's on everything by the time we leave.

I don't know. I think we should just keep it to three of us. A smaller group will be better.

Who's the third one you're suggesting we take with us, then?

Me and Pitch made a deal ages ago, so he's coming in exchange for letting up on Hanna's nightmares.

Even though he can't control the nightmares anymore, so they're already let up with. I wonder if I should try to get something else out of him instead.

Pitch? [You're kidding her, right?] The scientists are going to start thinking people on the surface are prejudiced against grey skinned people... to be sending three of them to possibly get killed. And with Pitch among us, make that 'certainly get killed'.

Could be a good idea, yeah.

Actually, he has some good ideas. He thinks the scientists might not be able to see him; if they can't, he can sneak around like no one else can.

He'll become mortal down there. No more abilities. Just a normal human with gray skin and a superiority complex. Of course they'll be able to see him.

It's not an ability; he can't make himself invisible. I haven't asked for all the details yet, but I think it's part of his belief thing.

If it's a belief thing, then there's no guaranty he'll still 'exist' down there. Or that none of the scientists will see him. It only takes one after all and all those scientists were kids once.

Also it's never been a problem for anyone here to see him. Why would it be different with the scientists? I don't believe us being able to see him is the Animus' doing, so...

It's still worth trying. I bet he didn't come up with that theory out of nowhere; he has to have a reason for thinking it's possible.

Of course he has a reason. He wants to come down there with us.

Right. You do that. But we could definitely use having Robin around. Especially if pitch's coming.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't just want to come for shits and giggles.

If you ever want to be a team leader someday, you need to gain the trust of your allies so that they'll want you to be in charge. Not arbitrarily decide that you are. And you need to learn to listen.
