[Normally by now he'd been trying to do SOMETHING instead of just watching her go, but this was different. There wasn't really a faded line or a smudge or whatever. He was clearly in the wrong and he knew it, so he felt it best to give her some space. It was still a little confusng to him whether he was giving her space for her or due to a selfish want to not have to look at the hurt he'd caused for a while.]
