[Jane's gracious and welcoming host will be sprawled across the living room couch, staring at the ceiling]

[Jane arrives a little while later, with the cookies as well. She had to improvise a lot for the ingredients, but she thinks they turned out alright. Not as sweet as she liked, and there wasn't any chocolate, but apple sugary with whatever spices she could find was good, right?]

Hey, how are you holding up?

[she looks pretty bad-- her clothes are more wrinkled than usual, her hair is messier than usual, and there are bags forming under her eyes]

[in response, she just shrugs]

Okay.

Yeah, Hanna told us how you were in a coma for a while.

[She offers the small plate of cookies, and hopes that she can help change some of that.]

[she pokes at the cookies, choosing one and taking an unenthusiastic nibble at it]

It wasn't a big deal.

You had us worried for a while.

Castiel was in his for longer and he was okay.

I know. But that doesn't mean we weren't worried all the same.

[She sits down, watching out for the smiley faces, like Hanna warned her last time.]

I like your house. Hanna warned me of the faces last time. What do they do?

They mark traps. We have a lot of them, for intruders.

[she nibbles at the cookie again, then puts it back on the plate almost entirely uneaten]

That must have taken a bit of creativity.

[She glances at the cookies for a second.]

Not hungry?

Not really. You can leave them, though; Hanna will like them.

[She gives her a small smile and sets the cookies down.]

I hope he will.

Do... you want to do something when you're feeling more up to going out? Maybe hang out at the library or see the lake?
