[That stings. Knowing she's still sore about Pitch's disappearance makes him momentarily curious if she's bent on see-sawing between keeping it pent up and taking it out on him. Unsure whether to stay or go, he sits a moment, refecting. It's like either way I'm wrong with her. Suddenly being inside is making it hard to breathe, like a wave of claustrophobia.

I never said you were not worried! If you were not, you would not be at the House or going back and forth to Ta Prohm!! The detached comment was not meant as 'emotionally dead', it was meant as 'you seem to be able to keep yourself relatively calm in the face of the event while i am getting so consumed by it through having little to no interaction with civilians that I am easily startled and on high alert'.
