[Karkat would've known those sounds anywhere. They're the indisputable sounds of Vriska throwing a tantrum. If he had any sense at all he would just leave. Luckily, he doesn't. He stomps right up to her.]

Hey, fuck you! What are you trying to accomplish by smashing shit up out here? Everyone's worried sick about you and this is the last thing we need right now!

[she whips around with a snarl]

The last thing you need? Are you fucking kidding me?!

Quit lecturing me and get the fuck out of here, or I swear to god I will shoot you in the face!

It's the last thing anyone needs and I think they'd all be just as pissed off as I am!

[Karkat stubbornly stands his ground. She can shoot him if she wants.]

Look, I don't care how much shit you smash, just answer your fucking texts! How else am I supposed to know you're not being eaten by hell hounds?

[she grabs her gun, aiming it at him]

Okay, just... promise me you'll come back? After you're done with all this. It wouldn't do anyone any good for you to go off and die. I'm fucking serious.

[she snarls and aims the gun at him]

Three. Two...

[Karkat raises his sickle and attempts to strike the barrel of the gun so it'll move to the side and the bullet will miss him. He has no idea if he'll be fast enough to do it before she pulls the trigger.]

[she was planning on missing him anyway-- at least at first-- so the bullet does go wide]

[unfortunately, she's now trying to bring the barrel of the gun down on his arm]

Fuck off! Leave me the fuck alone!

[Karkat keeps his sickle between himself and the gun, blade grinding against the barrel as he struggles to shove it away.]

Not until I know you're going to come back! I've had enough of people disappearing and getting injured!

[she jams an elbow in the direction of his ribs]

It's none of your business what I'm going to do!

[Her elbow gets him right in the ribs. Karkat doubles over.]

Ow, fuck! [The blow only silences him for a few seconds though. He stands back up and brandishes his sickle.] I know you're upset, but that doesn't mean you should throw away everything you still have!

Go away, Karkat. Or I'll aim for your head.

I'm not going anywhere!

[He's gonna try to grab her wrist and drag her back.]

You're the one who needs to come home!

No!

[she struggles against his grip, aiming a kick at his stomach]

I'm not going back, ever!

[Karkat sucks at blocking, so the kick hits him too. It sends him back a few feet.]

Then what are you going to do? Live out here in the wasteland? You already know how dangerous that is! You're just making things harder for yourself!

It's none of your business what I'm going to do.

Fine! Fuck you! Just stay out here and die for all I care!

Fine!

[He's just gonna stomp back to the city.]
