[Running at a light jog, head on a swivel, Zell is on a mission. A mission that had been briefly interrupted periodically by monstrous encounters, but he's hoping that even being as covered in blood as he is that she's not going to mind. He'd been searching the vast expanse of Wasteland for quite a while. When she didn't want to be found, he had come to discover that she was quite good at it.

...but maybe his luck was turning around. His heart practically leaps out of his chest when he sees her and he's almost afraid to approach her at first.. but there was far worse out there than a depressed angry troll female, right?

The pugilist approaches her steadily and confidently.] Vriska?

[she doesn't turn around]

Go away, Zell.

[combatking]

No. I'm kinda worried you're gonna do somethin' reckless.

[Sometimes he wanted to strangle himself for his honesty.]

Zell.

Go away. Leave me alone!

[combatking]

I'm not gonna leave. Best you're gonna get is that I'll wait outside.

Vriska! This is kind've a huge thing an' I don't think you should be alone for it.

I typo'd "cave" as "cafe" at first; that would have been an interesting change in tone

[she gets up and heads towards the mouth of the cave, pushing past him]

They could have gotten hot cocoa and spiked it with rum!

[He grabs her arm as she slams past him.] This isn't something you should bottle up.

[she yanks her arm away, and yells right into his face]

Leave me alone!

[overzellous]

[Something inside him snaps. The pugilist feels that electric current running up his spine and straight out his mouth.] Y'know what, fine! If you want me to leave so bad then fine . When do I EVER understand your problems, right!? [Zell throws his arms up in exasperation.] Every time somethin' happens, you always wanna be alone, an' you just let it eat away at you for weeks!

[she doesn't answer, and just tries to move past him again]

...I fell asleep after I sent that and didn't realize it.. then the thread got really weird..

[Zell feels a cold pang in his chest as he reaches up to cover his mouth. Saying something like that aloud when everything was so fresh had not exactly been on his agenda. Another moment of silence passes as he's letting her pass and that moment feels like hours.

He dashes over back in front of her.]

I.. shit. I'm sorry. Look. I'll leave if you want so you can think about things.

[With that he starts heading out.]

[she's still going out too, firing up her rocketboots]

[His shoulders drop and he shakes his head. It was one of those times when he wished he had a better reign on his mouth. ..or could figure out any way to help Vriska out of her increasingly downward spiral.] I just dunno how to.. anyway call me if y'need me.

[His voice was almost listless when he spoke. Zell goes to the mouth of the cave and stands there a moment, pensive. Instead of just continuing to walk off, he decides maybe it was time for a quicker exit. There almost wasn't a quick enough exit, though he felt like a coward for thinking it. In a moment he's gone, leaving a trail of white blue light through the Wastes and a fading after-image.]
