I am back... again. This place just does not want to let me go.

[She is faced with a slightly older, slightly wiser Zell. That 5 weeks after the whole Sorceress slaying stint and general clean up has made him oh so much more experienced than the last time she saw him.

He preens his hair back behind his ear and gives her an uneasy smile.]

Sorry, love. So how longs it's been this time? The place is a freakin' wreck. And the Taj is gone!

[Oh wow, he really is real. Probably. If this isn't a hallucination event or the Animus just generally being dicks.]

God, Zell. It's been like a year. A lot of stuff happened.

Missed you.

[His eyes widen a bit before he averts them and begins scratching the back of his neck. A year? For real?] Damn. That's pretty crazy. It was just a few weeks on my end.

[There isn't really a way for him to say he missed her. He spent most of his time not even realizing she existed and when his memories unfogged she was right there accessible from his PCD, so for a moment Zell is unsure how to respond.]

Can you find the caves? That's where I'm staying.

[He definitely remembered the caves, and if they were still on the map maybe it wouldn't be too hard to find.

Sometime later he finds himself wandering around the mouth of the caves, disconcerted by the new breed of bullshit Adstring had thrown at them in his time away. Like a weird nightmare filled with urban legends. It's not that he was scared or anything though, duh, all the looking around and jumping at noises was just watriors instinct or something. Even still, his voice is a little shaky when he calls out.]

V-vriska? Hey!

Hey.

[She approaches, a little awkwardly.]

So... you know this is probably going to be like last time. You're only going to be here for a few days.

[Startled, he spins to face her, regaining his composure as his brain registers her voice. An involuntary sigh of relief escapes him before he answers.]

Yea. Yea probly. Wonder if we're even gonna live that long just lookin' at things.

Whatever. We've survived worse, right?

[She's still looking him up and down.]

... I really missed you.

[A lot worse, sort of! Though remaining alert, he relaxes a bit. If she's not flipping the fuck out, there's probably no direct threat around.] Heh, yea. I thought the Sorceress was bad, you shoulda seen the media shitstorm an' threats goin' round when she "disappeared". This whole thing is still pretty freaky though.

[He notes her gaze.] I ain't too much different. [Zell states with a small smile, striking a pose.] I'm glad we get to hang out again. Even if it'll be short, might as well make the most've it!

Good idea! I have some ideas of how we could make the most of it.

There aren't a lot of trees around here, but...

[THERE ARE MANY THINGS ONE CAN DO IN A TREE.

Zell raises an eyebrow and gives her a sly knowing smile.] Well we don't need a tree, 'less it's for nostalgia's sake. An' if we really need branches that bad, we'll just spear leaves on your horns or somethin'!

Maybe we should find a makeout rock.

That would be awesome. We could actually call it Makeout Rock.
